  Fabulous pub! Perfect stop on the road between Melbourne and Sydney. Such a lovely, homely feel and the food was incredible! The bread here is the best sourdough I’ve had and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Lovely outdoor space and cosy inside seating so great in any weather. Worth a stop!

  What an amazing job the owners and team at The Sir George have done in a short space of time in transforming this mighty little country pub, adding a touch of The Grounds along the way. Well conceived gardens and precincts, great menu and meals, excellent service and personal attention. Our group was made to feel very welcome and we look forward to our next visit.

  We travelled over from the UK and stopped over at this beautiful renovated pub. Gorgeous building with loads of character, great selection of beers and wine in the bar and their own freshly baked sourdough bread is the best I've had. Don't miss out on the steaks, definitely make sure you stop by between Sydney and Melbourne or visiting Canberra. Kim, Liz, Kate, Alex and the rest of the team gave us exceptional service.

  Sensational venue, great space and atmosphere. Traditionally baked sourdough comes out warm 10am every morning, coffee and desserts, beautiful gardens and lovely hosts. This is a must stop on way to Sydney or Melbourne. Across the road is free camping at the Jugiong memorial reserve.

  Great vibe, delicious food and friendly country hospitality in an awesome venue. Highly recommend a visit. We went for lunch with 12 adults plus kids. Super family friendly and a great day out. My tip: Book a table ahead of time on the weekends.
